Wildflower Village presents a new series of musical journeys beginning
Sunday, June 8th, and ongoing each Sunday thereafter from 2 p.m. to 4:30
p.m. in the Green Fairy Pub and Chapel Gallery at 4305 W. 4th Street
in West Reno.
Mark Miller, a newly transplanted guitar slinger and vocalist out of
the Nashville and Los Angeles music scenes, brings an exciting mix of
musical styles and talented local players.
Each week, Mark and a few of his friends will join together for a
Sunday afternoon and play a collection of great grooves using
instruments and players from the Americana and Bluegrass styles, mixed
in with some of the great local Blues, Rock, and Jazz performers.
Expect an ever-changing lineup and a diverse set list that provides a
flow of songs similar to the works of artists such as Van Morrison and
Muddy Waters, blended with Doc Watson and Gram Parsons and featuring
an exploration into the improvisational skills of some of Northern
Nevada’s finest players, held down by a solid rhythm section.
The Green Fairy Pub is located at 4305 W. 4th Street. Look for the
wedding chapel at the third driveway east of W. McCarran Blvd. and
west of Johnny’s Ristorante Italiano and the Washoe Grill.
The Sunday shows are free and all ages are welcome. Adult beverages
available with proper ID. Contact Mark Miller at (775) 622-4875 for
