Good News - Tahoe's Ski Season Extended!

If you’re planning a trip to Reno Tahoe in late spring or early summer, you better pack your swimsuit, golf clubs AND your ski gear! A few area resorts are already planning to stay open well into the spring and even summer months. Check out the season snow totals and extended season dates below.

Northstar California

Spring it on! Northstar is adding two additional weekends to their season, staying open April 21-23 and April 28-30.

Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe

Mt. Rose is extending their season with a bonus weekend, April 27-30.

Sugar Bowl

With over 700" of snowfall recorded, Sugar Bowl will remain open through the weekend of April 29-30.

Diamond Peak

Make your spring-ski plans for Lake Tahoe's hidden gem, Diamond Peak, as they have extended their season to May 1.

Heavenly Mountain

Spring skiing is Heavenly! The resort's season is extended through May 7.

Kirkwood

Tahoe has extended their ski season! Kirkwood is adding two additional weekends, staying open May 5-7 and May 12-14.

Palisades Tahoe | Alpine Meadows

In the midst of a record-breaking snow season, Palisades Tahoe plans to keep its lifts running through Memorial Day on May 29. Alpine Meadows will stay open Fridays-Sundays through June, and will open for final days on July 1-4. With bluebird days and record-breaking snowpack, check out the snow activities and spring events our world-class ski resorts are offering throughout the months ahead. Just don’t forget to pack your sunscreen!
