Good News – Tahoe’s 23/24 Ski Season Extended!

If you’re planning a trip to Reno Tahoe in late spring or early summer, you better pack your swimsuit, golf clubs AND your ski gear! A recent round of spring snowstorms means that some Tahoe resorts staying open a few extra weekends this season. Check out the season snow totals and extended season dates below.

Northstar California

Spring it on! Northstar is reporting more than two feet of new snow in the past week, meaning they’ll stay open through April 14.

Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe

With more than two feet of snow reported from the Easter weekend storm, Mt. Rose is extending their season until April 30.

Sugar Bowl

With over 700″ of snowfall recorded, Sugar Bowl will remain open through the weekend of April 27-28.

Diamond Peak

Make your spring-ski plans for Lake Tahoe’s hidden gem, Diamond Peak, as they have extended their season to April 21.

Boreal Mountain California

This season’s storms have brought 347 inches of snow to the resort this season and Boreal will be open until April 14.

Heavenly Mountain

Spring skiing is Heavenly! The resort’s season is extended through April 21.

Kirkwood Ski Resort

Tahoe has extended its ski season! Kirkwood is giving skiers more time to hit the slopes, closing on April 28.

Palisades Tahoe 

Long known for its spring skiing, Palisades Tahoe plans to keep its lifts running through Memorial Day on May 27.
