Once you’ve done all your shopping in Reno, head to The Outlets at Legends located at the Legends at Sparks Marina. The Basement is an unexpected experience of the senses built beneath the historic 1933 U.S. Post Office. Rose Highway, The Summit is an open-air lifestyle shopping center with more than 70 shops, specialty retailers, salons, and restaurants to satisfy any palate. Its courtyards feature fountains, paths and fire pits to gather around on cool evenings, and seasonal features such as live music during summer evenings.
The Summit offers a wide variety of shopping and dining that will please even the most demanding patron and is also home to a farmer’s market that is held Tuesdays and Saturdays June through September. If you’ve hit all the shops and malls in Reno, head up to the Lake Tahoe area for some unique finds. Lake Tahoe shopping is divided up over a wide area, so it’s best to do your research before you go. You might not be able to hit every shopping spot in one trip.

Check out Boatworks Mall in Tahoe City or take a quick ten-minute drive to Squaw Valley, where unique boutiques and specialty shops like Lather & Fizz Bath Boutique, Patagonia and Spirits of the Valley await.
Truckee offers a variety of shops. Gift stores, clothing boutiques and hobby stores are just some of the shopping to check out. And if you like street fairs, Truckee hosts Truckee Thursdays each year from June to August. It’s a great event to check out if you’re into food trucks, shopping and live music.
