Travel pro Kristin Addis, better known to her Instagram followers as @bemytravelmuse, has been around the world but calls the Reno Tahoe area home. Chief Marketing Officer for the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, Christina Erny leads the organization’s integrated marketing efforts and was honored as a 2025 Women of Achievement Award recipient by the Nevada Women’s Fund in recognition of her leadership and meaningful contributions to the region.

Emily Skyle-Golden is the Executive Director of Cordillera International Film Festival and head of Film Northern Nevada Initiative. She was just awarded the 2026 Nevada Woman of Achievement through Nevada Women’s Film Festival!

The executive director of venue sales and events for the RSCVA, Renee McGinnes, was recognized by Smart Meetings for her leadership. She and her team just wrapped up a record-breaking year of events.

Jaime Chapman is a passionate tourism entrepreneur with a decade of experience showing cities. She is the founder of Travel Pineapple, which offers custom pedicab tours in Reno, and serves as the executive director of Reno's MidTown District.

Kristen Saibini serves as the assistant executive director/marketing manager for Downtown Reno Partnership, a non-profit business improvement district whose mission is to complement local government services to make downtown more vibrant. Saibini is also a dog mom influencer to the adorable rescue dog, Peanut!

Autumn Harry identifies as a fisherwoman, land defender, Indigenous rights advocate, artist and fly fishing guide. A member of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, Autumn founded Kooyooe Pa'a Guides, whose mission is to make fishing accessible for marginalized communities. She was also named USA TODAY's "Woman of the Year - Nevada Honoree" in 2022.

Founder and owner of Rising for People Coffee Co., a Black-owned business in Reno, Sky Jones emphasizes sustainability, social impact and innovative features like Reno's first roast-on-demand service.

Laura Lawson Visconti is the co-founder of Drink Coffee Do Stuff Roastery, based out of Tahoe and Truckee. Expect lots of photos of Laura sharing her business moves, family and adventures!

Owner of C’s Mad Batter Cakery, Ciarra Melvin, started a woman-owned business that specializes in custom cakes, cookies and viral milkshakes. What started as a hobby back in 2017 has now taken off in the Reno-Sparks community, with a passion for creative, scratch-made desserts.

Tucked away just west of downtown Reno on Dickerson Road, you’ll find Sierra Water, an indoor plant and gift store. The shop is owned by Samantha Stremmel, and she and her husband also own The Wedge Ceramic Studio, where they have classes, workshops and art shows.

If you love curated vintage treasures, you need to check out The Nest. Owner Tessa Dee Miller is a Reno native who loves to share her passion for breathing new life and love into all things old and interesting.

Michelle Czarka started crafting high-quality, all-natural skincare and home goods, and now has two retail locations in Reno and Salt Lake City.
