Restaurants and Bars in Reno’s Riverwalk District

If you want to experience the unique culture of Reno Tahoe, spending time at the Riverwalk District is a must. The Riverwalk District is located in the heart of downtown Reno, along the Truckee River. In addition to the parks and public art, some of the best restaurants and bars are located in this area.

Wild River Grille

Offering a casual but upscale ambiance and a delicious menu, Wild River Grille is a staple of the Reno Riverwalk. On a warm afternoon, there’s no better place than their patio to grab a glass of wine and some happy hour appetizers. Traveling with your furry BFF? The patio is pet-friendly, complete with water dishes and plenty of shade, and they are supporters of Reno’s local animal shelters!

The Eddy

Toss back a cold beer with friends while you try your hand at one of The Eddy’s many yard games. Oversized Connect Four and Jenga, as well as cornhole, are just a few of the ways to stay entertained at this container park located right on the Truckee River. Worked up an appetite? Try a pizza from Fire Trail Pizza or grab a snack from the food truck they usually have onsite. This space is family-friendly during the day and well-behaved pups are welcome.

Campo

Offering a menu of handmade pasta, wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas and farm-fresh ingredients, creative cocktails, and both indoor and outdoor seating, Campo is the perfect spot for date night, a quick bite while strolling the Riverwalk or grabbing a drink with friends. Make sure to save room for something sweet from their dessert menu!

Sierra Tap House

While not affiliated with Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, this local watering hole has a wide selection of their beers on tap that you won’t find everywhere else. In the mood for something more spirited? Try their greyhound, made with freshly-squeezed grapefruit.

Ole Bridge Pub

With a full cocktail menu, rotating craft beers on tap and a selection of canned and bottled brews, Ole Bridge Pub is an ideal pit stop on a warm afternoon or evening in downtown. Grab a drink and challenge your friends to a game of darts, or just chill on the patio with views of the Truckee River rolling by.

Hub Coffee Roasters

Listening to the sound of the Truckee River and enjoying a cup of locally-roasted coffee as you plan your day’s adventures seems pretty perfect. Hub Coffee Roasters is located just west of downtown along the Riverwalk and is a great place to start your day. Whether you choose to take your coffee to go, or stay to take in the view from their outdoor seating area or light-filled riverfront space, we guarantee this is how you’ll want to start every day.

The Shore Room

Located inside the Reno Renaissance Downtown, this Mediterranean-inspired restaurant has a menu and atmosphere that will inspire more than one Instagram-worthy photo. Their patio overlooks the Truckee River, making it an ideal spot to cool off and relax after a long day. The Shore Room is also pet-friendly, with water dishes and pet beds for your dog.

Wine Walk

Did someone say wine? Every third Saturday of the month (yes, even during the winter!) you can stroll the Riverwalk and downtown, sampling wine at local shops and restaurants. This monthly event is a favorite among locals and visitors alike and is a fun-filled way to spend the day with friends.

Up for something more adventurous? Sierra Adventures is located on the Riverwalk and offers a variety of tours, from kayaking and rafting the Truckee River to horseback riding or snowmobiling.
