MidTown has so many great places to eat that you truly can spend from dusk till dawn enjoying all the flavors it has to offer. Whether you want a quick bite to eat, a hip bar to grab a drink, outdoor dining, or a place to sit down and enjoy a meal, MidTown has it all. Look at our breakfast, lunch, drinks and dinner picks for your one-stop food frenzy spot.

Breakfast Restaurants in MidTown

Perenn Bakery is one of the newest places to open up in MidTown and it’s full of daily freshly baked croissants, Danishes, loaves of bread and ready-to-make tartines. Two Chicks takes your traditional breakfast faves and adds a twist, like their sourdough pancakes, grain-free sweet potato pancakes and their apple cinnamon french toast. My go-to order is their Rise and Shine sandwich from their sister restaurant, Gourmelt. If you’re looking for a loaded breakfast, Pegs Glorified Ham N Eggs serves literal skillets full of food right to your table with their signature Peg’s Glorified Skillets in all sorts of flavors. They are also known for their omelets, benedicts, and their ”Aloha” From Hawaii choices. Truckee Bagel Company is a quick stop to grab some carbs to go and Great Full Gardens has a healthier selection of breakfast choices like their veggie benedict, avocado toast and paleo breakfast bowls.

MidTown Lunch Spots

Noble Pie Parlor is in the heart of MidTown and they create some of the best pizza this town has to offer. They make their ranch in-house, give the option of gluten-free pizza and bake housemade meatballs to eat alongside your pie. Laughing Planet takes two delicious things, burritos and smoothies, and serves them side-by-side. You can also order bowls, vegan options, quesadillas, soups, salads and more. Süp is the perfect option any day of the week. You can’t go wrong with their classic grilled cheese sandwich alongside their tomato bisque, but literally anything on the menu is worth trying. Best part? Every selection comes with a mini cookie on the side! Chuy’s Mexican Kitchen is a place where you can sit back and enjoy a margarita while you wait for your burrito or enchilada.

Where to Get Drinks in MidTown

Craft Wine and Beer is a laid-back place to stop for a drink while exploring MidTown. They specialize in wine, beer and spirits, and have an assortment of all three available to purchase and take home. Death & Taxes is a hip provisions and spirits bar with drinks titled Bonaparte, Steel Magnolia, and Death’s Mule. The names and colors of the drinks will keep you wanting more. Reno Public House has a selection of beer, spirits and ”a little vino” in their quaint and eclectic bar. Grab a drink and sit outside on their patio for a front-row seat to MidTown life. Rum Sugar Lime is Reno’s first tropical-themed bar, with cocktails served in pineapple-shaped bowls and garnished with tropical flavors. Their most popular drink, The Saturn, doesn’t contain rum but is my personal favorite. If you love Nevada, then check out 1864 Tavern which serves beer, wine and specialty cocktails, like the Gold Rush in a setting filled with historic-themed decor.
