Edible Pedal 100

Bowers Mansion Regional Park
September 21, 2014

The Edible Pedal 100™ is a recreational yet challenging charitable bike ride that showcases Nevada.

The three beautiful ride routes feature outstanding locally sourced food.  Local farmers, ranchers, vintners, brewers, bakers, and other food artisans will be featured at the ride stops and post ride barbecue.

Three ride route options - there's something for everyone!
There are three routes with ride distances of 10 miles, 50 miles and the Nevada 150K (93.2 miles) and all start/end at Bowers Mansion Regional Park in Washoe Valley.
  • Leisurely 10-mile route through picturesque Washoe Valley- great for families and cyclists seeking a taste of an organized ride.  It is perfect for families to enjoy a leisurely ride.
  • Respectable 50-mile loop includes a trek along bucolic country drives and through rustic towns, some climbing.  It is for stronger riders.
  • Challenging Nevada 150K ride featuring a lung-searing, thigh-burning, climb up Kingsbury Grade from the Carson Valley to beautiful Lake Tahoe.
