West Street Plaza Halloween Weekend
West Street Plaza
October 27, 2012
4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
You'll find bounce houses for the kids, live entertainment, concession stands and plenty of fun for everyone. Children of all ages can also enjoy Spooky Read Alouds for all ages at The Honors Academy of Literature, located at 195 Arlington Avenue at First Street.
Enjoy a special performance by the band "Drinking with Clowns" on the main plaza stage. "Drinking with Clowns" eclectic sounds combine Latin, funk and rhythm and are designed to help you lose yourself in the sound of music. The group's dual meaning lyrics routinely have audiences smiling in no time.
Not only will costumed candy seeking youngsters get a "treasure map" where they'll find sweet treats at participating Riverwalk District merchant shops on Sat. Oct. 27th, but they'll probably run into guys and ghouls in spooky costumes along the way. Take your dog trick-or-treating from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Special Pup treat stops will be identified on the official map. A portion of the candy has been generously supplied by the Kimmie Candy Company and the dog treats were generously donated by the Scraps, Shakespeare Animal Fund and SPCA.
