Lake Tahoe and the Sierra:

Advantage offers a one-hour aerial tour over beautiful Lake Tahoe. See the numerous mountain lakes and get a bird’s eye view of Emerald Bay. You’ll be able to look down at Mt. Rose, and see through the crystal clear waters of the lake. Pricing starts at $350. Tours can accommodate up to 4 adults or a family of 5.

Sierra Air Helicopters offers private, luxury tours of Lake Tahoe all year round. 
 
When guests arrive at the airport, they will be greeted by one of our professional pilots who will escort them to their awaiting helicopter. We operate a Robinson R-44 four seat helicopter that can accommodate three passengers. Each passenger is provided with a noise canceling headset and their own window to take in the sights. The helicopter is also equipped with heating and air conditioning for their comfort. Champaign can be served onboard upon request.

Sierra Biplane Adventures LLC offers nostalgic rides in an open-cockpit biplane around Reno, Lake Tahoe and the Sierra. We fly a Waco UPF-7, one of the most magnificent flying machines ever created. Built in 1941 as a military trainer, the beautifully restored Waco seats two passengers along with the pilot. Rides can be as exciting as you like or as gentle as you can imagine. The open cockpit biplane gives passengers an opportunity to experience what flying was like in the “Golden days of aviation”. This is an incredible way to experience the magnificent beauty and spectacular scenery of our area. If you haven't flown an open cockpit biplane, you haven't flown. And the Waco UPF-7 is highly regarded as the best biplane ever built.

Sierra Biplane Adventures offers flights Tuesday thru Sunday (and even on Monday if necessary) from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. It prefers to fly between eight and noon for the best conditions and in the evenings at sunset.
