Presented by the Reno Chamber Orchestra, the annual festival features eleven unique concerts showcasing world class musicians and the best in classical music, culminating with a New Year’s Day celebration. There is no other festival of this kind in the world during the holidays. Concerts feature soloists and small ensembles including many of the world’s most renowned classical musicians. Artists include leading players from the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra and the Berlin Philharmonic.
The beauty of the festival is not only in the quality of the musicianship, but in the personal experience of a smaller setting that allows the listener to be emotionally and physically connected to the music. The festival program presents a diverse and exceptional repertoire.
Concerts take place at the beautiful Trinity Episcopal Church (next to the Truckee River in downtown Reno), Nightingale Concert Hall on the UNR campus (just north of downtown Reno on S. Virginia Street) and the South Reno United Methodist Church (off Mt. Rose Highway).
