It's spiciest, most affordable 4th of July festival to ever hit Downtown Reno. The Silver Legacy Resort Casino is hosting the 10th Annual Great International Chicken Wing Society Cook-off on Virginia Street this 4th of July weekend!
From Saturday to Monday, you'll have a chance to sample the best sauces, taste top-notch wings, watch the best in the business compete for poultry pride and enjoy free entertainment. Restaurants and bars will compete to see who has the best sauce, with the general public invited to help judge the "taster" wings (Chicken Hawks) and crown this year's champ. Visitors can purchase sampler plates starting at $2.00. Admission is FREE.
Festivities take place from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday. Don't miss the Fireworks Show on Sunday evening. This will be a weekend of affordable outdoor fun for the whole family.
