Amy Johnsen

After growing up in Michigan, spending my summers water skiing, I headed south to pole vault at Clemson University. Afterward, I moved west to Auburn, CA, for a job I held for five years. It was there that I fell in love with mountain biking and the Reno Tahoe region. I moved to Carson City in 2018 to pursue a teaching career and remain close to Tahoe. At first, I thought I would miss the familiar winter biking trails the western foothills of the Sierra Nevada offer, but I quickly found year-round riding and better access to all the outdoor activities I love in my Nevada home.
