Try These Newest Libations in Reno Tahoe

Reno Tahoe is enjoying the welcome of Washoe County’s first winery! Nevada Sunset Winery currently manages a 3-acre vineyard in Fallon, receiving additional grapes from Yerington, the Minden area and northern California. Mike Steedman opened Nevada Sunset Winery with the idea of having an alternating proprietorship with Basin & Range Wines and Great Basin Winery. Though state law would not allow such a partnership, both wineries are producing varietals that will be ready for your glass in early 2018.

In other news regarding brews and booze, a new brewery-distillery and a barcade have also set up shop in Reno. The Mill Street Still and Brew opened in September 2017 and is home to a state-of-the-art brewery and vacuum-distilled spirits. Run by local engineers, their complex vacuum distillation process is the only one in Nevada and one of just a few in the entire nation.

Reno’s newest barcade, Press Start offers adults a way to drift back in time, with a collection of lost favorite arcade games and pinball, as well as craft beers and fine spirits. Press Start opened in late September 2017 and is located in the booming, trendy Midtown District.
