Moo Dang

This family owned Thai restaurant brings the heat when it comes to bold flavors and great craft beer. This local go-to serves up some of the best entrees, like their crab fried rice and the garlic and pepper stir fry. Without a doubt, you need to leave room for dessert! The mango and sticky rice aren’t something you’d want to skip out on!

Ijji

A Reno Tahoe staple that has been around since 2009, Ijji operates four unique restaurants all offering a different style of Asian cuisine. For sushi, check out the original Ijji in Sparks. Ijji 2 offers hibachi and fun for the whole family. For ramen and poke, you’ll want to visit Ijji Noodle House and Poke Don in South Reno. Their fourth location, Ijji 4, is Korean BBQ where dinner is prepared at your table on built-in grills.

Haru

For delicious Japanese cuisine, look no further than Haru. This restaurant welcomes guests with a peaceful atmosphere and some of the best bowls of ramen. Start with appetizers like chicken karaage or takoyaki, and for your main course, you cannot go wrong ordering the spicy miso.

Noodle Box Kitchen

Located at the north end of Midtown, Noodle Box Kitchen offers simple Asian-inspired comfort food, where each dish is packed with flavor and amazing fragrance. Their main courses are made with organic chicken, pork, and tofu with gluten free options available. Rice Box Kitchen helps maintain eco-friendly efforts by using green to-go boxes for takeout.

Pho 999

Check out Pho 999 for the comfort meal to aid all. Starting with their egg rolls or spring rolls is a must! Locals rave about the standout broth, renowned for its rich depth of flavor that never disappoints. Highly recommended is the combination soup, which is bound to satisfy your cravings and leave you wishing you could eat more. 

The Coconut Downtown

Located downtown near the Truckee River, The Coconut only uses the freshest and finest ingredients to bring you great-tasting Thai dishes. Sit on their beautiful patio and try the avocado green curry with a couple of Thai teas.

Kwok’s Bistro

We might be a little biased, but Kwok’s Bistro has some of the best Chinese and Asian Fusion cuisine on the West Coast. The dining area is small, so make a reservation or plan ahead in case there is a wait. Some can’t-miss items include the pork belly sliders, chicken wings and beef chow fun.

Sip of Saigon

Discover the delights of Vietnamese coffee and cuisine from morning through evening at Sip of Saigon. Located in Sparks, Sip of Saigon specializes in drip coffee, banh mi sandwiches, salads, and baked goods. 

Aloha Shack

Poke bowls, Kalua pork, kalbi beef short ribs – hungry yet? Aloha Shack started as a food truck before opening a storefront (and are we glad they did!). Their dishes will make you think you’ve been transported straight to the Islands.  

Silver Chopsticks

Satisfy your spring roll craving at Silver Chopsticks. This restaurant serves both Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. Warm up with a delicious bowl of pho or wonton soup and start out your meal with an order of fresh spring rolls or fried egg rolls.
