You made it to the Biggest Little City, all set and ready for the ultimate outdoor adventure. When you arrive at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, it’s an easy walk to multiple transportation options. You can hop on a complimentary shuttle to many of the casino resorts and hotels. Contact your hotel directly to find out if they have a scheduled shuttle, or if you need to call to request one upon arrival. Uber, Lyft and taxis are also available for transportation to and from the airport.
If you’re in Reno Tahoe for a ski trip, leave the driving to the pros. Several Lake Tahoe ski resorts offer Reno shuttle service from the airport and/or area casino resorts. You can also grab and Uber or Lyft if you’re heading to Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe or Diamond Peak, both only minutes from downtown.
The following are options for daily Reno Tahoe shuttle services directly to area ski resorts, and other destinations around Lake Tahoe.
Mt. Rose Ski Resort – Daily shuttles depart from four different Reno resorts – Atlantis, Peppermill, Silver Legacy, Grand Sierra Resort – arriving at Mt. Rose by 9 a.m. and departing the mountain at 4:30 p.m.
Diamond Peak – This free shuttle is available to skiers traveling from Incline Village to Diamond Peak. Enjoy the convenience of being dropped off right at the resort with easy access to the ticket windows and slopes. Daily pick-ups and drop-offs are available at several Incline Village locations throughout the day.
North Lake Tahoe Express – This shuttle from Reno services a number of Lake Tahoe ski resorts and other attractions on or near the lake. They offer daily service to and from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, with discounts available for groups.
Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit – Offering service along the north and west shores of Lake Tahoe, the Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit (TART), has multiple routes connecting Tahoe City, Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley, Northstar and Truckee, as well as multiple destinations in between.
South Shore Services by Tahoe Transportation District – For those heading to Heavenly Ski Resort, the Tahoe Transportation District connects South Lake Tahoe and Carson City and the Carson Valley. Their daily ski shuttle services run throughout the day during the ski season.
