Shop Reno Tahoe

Eat, sleep and of course, shop! Take a break between events and check out local boutiques and shops and malls in Reno. MidTown and downtown Reno have a unique fashion scene you can’t miss. If familiar brands are what you’re after, check out the Outlets at Legends, Meadowood Mall, and the Summit Mall. For those looking for one-of-a-kind items, Reno is home to some great thrift stores. Junkee Clothing Exchange, The Nest and The Melting Pot World Emporium are filled with vintage clothing and treasures. Dining

Reno has several districts, each with their own set of amazing dining establishments. A stone’s throw away from The ROW is Louis’ Basque Corner, serving up family-style cuisine for large parties. And for locally sourced, sharable plates, you can’t beat the menu at Liberty Food and Wine Exchange. Enjoy dinner with a view of the Truckee River at Wild River Grille or Smith + River, which both offer great happy hour and dinner offerings.

In MidTown, there’s Mari Chuy’s, which serves up unbeatably fresh Mexican food and margaritas. Von Bismarck is home to wood-fired German food, great beers and an amazing outdoor eating space. Reno Public Market hosts a lineup of grab-n-go dishes for every craving. And Great Full Gardens MidTown serves delicious bites with a healthy twist, sure to keep you fresh between events.

A short rideshare away, the Sparks Water Bar gives you a chance to dress up, offering seafood and mouthwatering American classics. Fine dining can also be found at Rancharrah, a modern array of shops and eateries at the former mansion property of casino moguls. The Reno and Sparks restaurant scene is full of options for any appetite. The hardest choice will be deciding where to eat!

Breweries and Distilleries

Just east of downtown is Reno Tahoe’s brewery district, where you can raise a glass and quench your thirst with a local craft beer. The Depot Craft Brewery Distillery offers more than just hand-crafted brews, spirits, and a full menu, they also offer a piece of Reno’s history. The Depot converted the century-old former headquarters for the Nevada-California-Oregon Railway into Reno’s first distillery and brewery. Lead Dog Brewing is a short walk from downtown Reno and offers ales that range from heavily-hopped to fruity sours, with something for everyone to enjoy. Experience something different at Black Rabbit Mead Co., making and pouring meads made from locally-sourced honey. Still thirsty? Seven Troughs Distilling Co. Speakeasy, located in The Basement, stands out for its mid-century process of open fermentation. The Reno Tahoe Brewery Map will help you find even more local breweries and distilleries, all with deliciously unique offerings.

Relax and Unwind

During your downtime, treat yourself to an experience at one of Reno’s world-class spas. The Silver Legacy Resort Casino at The ROW has an exceptional spa where you can treat yourself to their custom-mixed scents, a herbal seaweed wrap or a detox clay body wrap.
