Bowling in Reno is a big deal. The National Bowling Stadium, the only facility of its kind in the world, (referred to as the “Taj Mahal of Tenpins” by The Los Angeles Times) is dedicated to the classic sport of bowling. Living up to its name, the Stadium was designed with the tournament bowler in mind but due to the versatility of the facility, allows it to be transformed into several configurations to suit any event and is available for private parties, business meetings, and bowling functions.
Bowlers and visitors are greeted by a bronze sculpture, presented by the Brunswick Corporation, to the Stadium which depicts the family on their way to bowling, a favorite photo backdrop for visitors. The stadium offers 78 championship lanes and the Stadium Club with a full-service bar, large screen TV, pool table and a spectacular view of the downtown corridor beckon competitors.
We are proud to host the 2017 Storm Open Festival of Bowling, Oct 5-Nov 5. For more information, and to download the entry form, click here.
