Great Full Gardens
With four locations in the area, Great Full Gardens is your go-to place if you have a specialized dietary need or are just looking for great flavor and a unique and tasty menu. Some of their local vendors include Dayton Valley Aquaponics — which grows produce in an aquaponic greenhouse facility —Truckee Sourdough Company, and Elevated Water.
South Creek Pizza
A hidden gem, South Creek Pizza uses the freshest local and internationally sourced products to bring you the highest quality handmade pizza possible. Their Artisan Neapolitan-style dough is imported from Italy, and their tomatoes come from just over the hill in California. You won’t want to miss their hand-crafted pies.
Mari Chuy’s Mexican Kitchen
Mari Chuy’s Mexican Kitchen now has four locations — MidTown, Victorian Square, Rancharrah, and the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Whatever your plans are in Reno Tahoe, make sure they include a visit to Mari Chuy’s. They source many of their ingredients from local farmers, the Great Basin Community Food Co-op, and Wolf Pack Meats. Favorite dishes include their Chile Relleno, tacos, and, of course, margaritas!
Madein Collective
Madein Collective is located in Mayberry Landing and takes pride in being a restaurant for the neighborhood, from the neighborhood. They source seasonal produce from local farms to put a fresh twist on Italian cuisine. Check out their bar to see regional wine varietals and locally distilled spirit selections. From your morning coffee break to a cozy dinner, “local” is at the heart of Madein.
Thali
Tucked away inside West Street Market, Thali is an organic, vegetarian Indian restaurant that offers a fixed menu sourced from items grown by the hardworking Reno-area farmers. When dining in-house, all plates are bottomless, meaning you will get to indulge in all the fresh local veggies you want. Plus, try their locally made kombucha or house-made Chai tea.

Enjoy country-style Italian dining for the whole family at The Kitchen Table. Ground-to-Glass Distilleries
Frey Ranch Distillery
The Frey family has been farming in Nevada for over 165 years and takes pride in the grains they grow and the whiskey they distill. The Frey Ranch Distillery and farm is located in the Lake Tahoe watershed in Fallon, Nevada, and considers each of its slow-grown grains an heirloom grown specifically for the filtered 90 proof Bourbon. The new generation of Frey is more than a ranch but a true farm distillery where the whiskey is grown, distilled, matured, and bottled on-site. You can shop their whiskey at local stores in Reno, or stop by for a tour and tastings every Saturday.
The Depot Brewery & Distillery
The Depot is housed in a century-old building on Fourth Street and brings the Nevada heritage and local pride to its spirits, beer, and food.
