Looking for a maintained and plowed road with restrooms and some fun for all ages? Donner Summit Sno-Park is your go-to winter spot! This snow park near Sacramento is a great option for sledding in Tahoe! Building snowmen or making snow angels are some other must-dos at Donner Summit. The Sno-Park is located at the Boreal ski turnoff, and a permit is required; these passes can be used at other locations, including California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho Sno-Parks.
