Anna's Taqueria

Anna's Taqueria serves a menu packed with delicious and authentic flavors, with vegetarian options included. Choose the "all you can eat" tacos selection or a special dish and pair it with your favorite Mexican beer or michelada. Stop by their Wells Avenue location and enjoy the outdoor patio seating on a sunny day.

Miguel's Mexican Food

Home to great Mexican food and even better drinks, Miguel's Mexican Food is one of Reno's go-to places for an awesome margarita. Want a break from the traditional margarita? Try one of their fruit margaritas available in strawberry, mango, peach or guava. Their hand-crafted skinny margarita is made with fresh lime juice, a shot of El Jimador tequila and a shot of agavero orange liquor. Visit them in Reno's Midtown District or at The Summit Mall in south Reno.

Murrieta's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

Murrieta's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina is the perfect place to enjoy a celebratory drink on Cinco de Mayo! They make an awesome house margarita but have many other refreshing flavors to choose from. Try Murrieta's happy hour starting at 2 p.m. on Monday through Friday. They have two locations in Reno and Sparks.

Mari Chuy's Mexican Kitchen

Mari Chuy's Mexican Kitchen offers authentic cuisine for lunch and dinner across their four locations in Reno and Sparks, including the Village at Rancharrah and Reno-Tahoe International Airport. They offer a wide selection of house margaritas, as well as a variety of Mexican beer, but are best known for their spicy jalapeno margarita. Stop by on a warm day and enjoy al fresco-style dining at their Reno and Sparks locations while sipping a refreshing drink and satisfying your hunger with a selection of appetizers or one of their specialty items.

La Condesa Eatery

Located on Wells Avenue, La Condesa Eatery merges an exclusive dining experience with a fresh approach to handcrafted dishes. Select between the gobernador tacos, potato taquitos or exotic mushrooms al pastor and quench your thirst with a guava margarita or the besame mucho margarita.

Chihuahua's Cantina & Grill

With daily specials and live music every weekend, you're sure to have a great time at Chihuahua's Cantina & Grill in south Reno! Known for their fresh ingredients and family recipes, there's truly something for everyone on their menu. Enjoy one of their house margaritas or if you're craving something spicy, try their homemade michelada mix.

Carlillos Cocina

Get an early start to your Cinco De Mayo celebrations with one of the best breakfasts in town at Carlillos Cocina. The portions are large and the food is delicious. Try both the Breakfast Burrito and Chile Relleno, two fan-favorite options!


Located in The Jesse Hotel, Estella is the go-to place for tacos and mezcal. This modern Mexican Cantina is the perfect place to gather your friends for Cinco De Mayo festivities. Enjoy one of the mezcal options, a michelada, or a spicy margarita for your beverage of choice.

Cafe Whitney

Cafe Whitney, inside the Whitney Peak Hotel, is serving up a dining special for Cinco de Mayo. Try their platter of three tacos with rice and beans, chips and salsa and your choice of a Modelo, house margarita or house wine. Choose between chicken tinga, carne asada, fried cod or corn and poblano tacos!
