Right in the heart of Midtown is where Perenn resides. Their menu changes weekly, but you can always count on fresh croissants, Danishes, kouign-amann, and loaves of bread and baguettes. They also whip up tartines with flavors like roasted pear + goat cheese with pistachio + crispy prosciutto, and house-made ricotta tartine with apple, honey, Maldon and toasted pumpkin seeds. Owned by two chefs, you really can’t find these types of flavors anywhere else in Reno!

House of Bread is the bakery to hop on into when looking for a treat and a loaf of bread to take home and enjoy. Bagels, raspberry pinwheels, croutons, brownies, baguettes and more… they have a huge selection from sweet to savory. Their rolls are the perfect addition to any dinner party or holiday gathering as well.

Franz is an Austrian bakery that specializes in cakes and pastries. Their decorated macarons are a delicacy and so are their specialty fruit tarts. Located in Sparks, Isabel’s is a specialty cake bakery that also serves mini treats as well. From their coconut macaroons to their chocolate eclairs, mini fruit pies and chocolate-covered strawberries, they are the perfect place to swing by and grab a box to full of dessert for any event, friend or just to take home to enjoy yourself.
