Gourmet food and drink meet unparalleled talent on the shores of Lake Tahoe with Sand Harbor State Park’s Summer Shakespeare Festival, boasting the perfect evening activity for the entire family throughout the months of July and August. Two new productions will be gracing the stage this year, as well as a Monday night music showcase and Young Shakespeare Program.
CANFEST lives as the world’s original and premier CANNED craft beer festival. The largest free hot-air ballooning event in the world, The Great Reno Balloon Race is an internationally famous spectacle drawing hot-air balloonists and enthusiasts from all around the world. For 35 years, locals and tourists alike have looked to the Reno skies for three days in September to take in spectacular views of unique hot-air balloons as they make their ascent.
National Championship Air Races is a local staple combining exciting entertainment with the fastest – and highest flying – sport in the world. Join flight and aircraft enthusiasts from all around the country and witness six racing classes – and a broad array of both civil and military aircraft demonstrations.
Street Vibrations is one of Reno’s largest and loudest events. Replete with tours, live entertainment, stunt shows and a marquee motorbike ride to Lake Tahoe, Street Vibrations is not to be missed.
