We’re celebrating love in Reno Tahoe during Northern Nevada Pride! In addition to the festival’s parade and activities at Wingfield Park in downtown Reno on July 22, you can find many other ways to celebrate around town. Check out these events that are kicking off the festival and happening all weekend.
The Official Pride Kickoff Party is back in action on Friday, July 21 at the Glow Plaza Festival Grounds with J Resort! 6 p.m. doors, 7 p.m. competition, followed by a performance by RuPauls Drag Race star Ra’Jah O’Hara and DJ BERAZZ dance party afterwards!
Get ready for a weekend of festivities with The Emerson’s Pride Kickoff Party on Friday July 21 at 6 p.m.! Have some fun playing drag bingo while enjoying drag performances. Take advantage of food and drink specials while jamming to sounds by DJ Oscar Perez. The party continues through the weekend! Saturday, July 22, at 6 p.m., The Emerson hosts their after party, complete with drag performances, more fantastic drink and food specials, as well as more sounds by DJ Oscar Perez and Obi-Wan Solo.
You won’t want to miss Drag Brunch at Café Whitney after the Northern Nevada Pride parade on Saturday, July 22. Doors open at 11 a.m. with a live performance by the Haus of Does Moore. Following brunch, it’s a short walk to Wingfield Park for Pride festivities throughout the afternoon. Make a weekend of it and book Whitney Peak’s Pride Package, complete with a rainbow room glow-up including balloons, confetti and streamers.
We can’t forget the main event – Northern Nevada Pride on Saturday, July 22. The festival begins with a parade through downtown Reno, followed by an entire day of fun at Wingfield Park. There will be food vendors, live music and special guests.
