Discover One-Of-A-Kind Features at Tahoe Ski Resorts

It’s no secret that one of the most popular winter attractions in Reno Tahoe is the amazing selection of ski resorts that surround our region. Boasting the highest concentration of ski resorts in North America, you’re sure to find some fun, one-of-a-kind features at each and every one.

Need help deciding where to ski or snowboard? These Reno Tahoe ski resorts offer something unique for visitors.

Ladies Day at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe

Each Thursday, ladies receive a discount on daily lift tickets at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe and can also take advantage of the Ladies Day Ski/Snowboard Clinic. So grab your best girlfriends and plan a day at Mt. Rose, less than 30 minutes from downtown Reno.

S’mores at Northstar California

What’s cozier than gathering around a fire pit and treating yourself to a tasty, gooey s’more? Every day at 4 p.m. Northstar California offers their guests complimentary s’mores. They are first-come-first-served, so don’t be late! If you do miss the free treats (or find yourself wanting seconds), you can buy s’more kits at the ice rink cabana bars.

Last Tracks Wine/Beer Tasting at Diamond Peak

Take part in one of Lake Tahoe’s most unique on-mountain events this winter with Diamond Peak’s Last Tracks Wine/Beer Tasting events, held most Wednesday afternoons from February through the end of the ski season. Last Tracks participants have the opportunity to take advantage of a half-day lift ticket valid from 12:30 to 4 p.m. followed by a final chair ride up to Snowflake Lodge to experience breathtaking views, wine or craft beer tastings paired with delicious appetizers. When the event is over, participants enjoy one final run down a freshly groomed trail. Take advantage of Diamond Peak’s free shuttle service from various locations in Incline Village.

Night Pass at Boreal Mountain Resort

Boreal Mountain Resort keeps select lifts spinning from 3 to 8 p.m. so you can enjoy the only night skiing in Tahoe. There are no blackout dates and night skiing is available every day of the week. With the night pass, skiers and snowboarders can head up after work and enjoy a beautiful sunset on the slopes and the well-lit trails after dark.

Ski Two States in One Day at Heavenly Lake Tahoe

Heavenly Lake Tahoe has plenty of amazing features for skiers and snowboarders, but arguably the most unique is that you can ski two states – Nevada and California – in one day! The mountain straddles the state line, meaning you can easily traverse between states.
