    Downtown Reno Shopping

    MidTown Reno Shopping

    The shops at South Creek Center are in a league of their own. In fact, you might need a full day to explore this walkable 18-shop center and their food and drink options. Start with The Freckled Frog for eclectic home accessories, antiques and gifts, or browse one of their clothing boutiques such as Concepts Reno, Southcreek Clothing Co., La Galleria and many more. Quench your thirst or satisfy your appetite at the coffee shops, bars, or restaurants that call this shopping center home.

    Other Local Shops

    Don't limit yourself to these neighborhoods! Plenty of other one-of-a-kind shopping destinations are popping up around Reno Tahoe. Take a drive to Dickerson Road for a visit to Strange Bikinis, where you'll find style-forward bikinis, with a selection of ready-to-wear styles or custom-made options available. Just down the street, you can shop a selection of locally-crafted pottery at The Wedge Ceramics Studio or even sign up for classes to create your own. If "Fashionista" is your middle name, you won't want to miss The Niche, located at the Airport Square-Costco Center by the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The Niche is a hip boutique shop offering home decor as well as trendy and international lines for women of all ages.

    Lake Tahoe Shopping

    If you’ve hit all the shops and malls in Reno, head up to the Lake Tahoe area for some unique finds. Lake Tahoe shopping is divided up over a wide area, so it’s best to do your research before you go. You might not be able to hit every shopping spot in one trip.

    Incline Village has more offerings when it comes to photography studios, furniture and one-of-a-kind gifts. You’re bound to find some unique stuff, from handmade items to interesting thrifts and costumes. Check out Boatworks Mall in Tahoe City or take a quick ten-minute drive to the Village at Palisades Tahoe, where unique boutiques and specialty shops like Lather & Fizz Bath Boutique, Patagonia and Spirits of the Valley await.

    Truckee offers a variety of shops. Gift stores, clothing boutiques and hobby stores are just some of the shopping to check out. And if you like street fairs, Truckee hosts Truckee Thursdays each year from June to August. It’s a great event to check out if you’re into food trucks, shopping and live music.
