Restaurants, Retail & Attractions Health and Safety Guidelines

Your favorite restaurants, stores and museums are open, with protocols in place to keep their staff and patrons safe and healthy. As always, check before you go so you can dine, drink, shop or explore with peace of mind. Some of the new Washoe County guidelines in place at Reno Tahoe restaurants, bars, stores and other businesses include but are not limited to the following:

  • Masks are required in all public spaces to protect the health of staff and other guests
  • Capacity limitations are in place at restaurants, bars, casinos, museums. shopping centers and other spaces
  • Reservations are recommended at many restaurants
  • Reservations required at some locations, including museums and other attractions
  • Increased daily cleaning and disinfecting protocols
  • Staff will be provided with necessary PPE
  • Restroom facilities may be limited, depending on business type and location
  • Bars, taprooms, and breweries are now open, allowing groups of six or less

Local businesses are working diligently to safeguard the health of their employees and guests.
