Outdoor Recreation Health and Safety Guidelines

In Reno Tahoe, we are fortunate to have an abundance of outdoor spaces – trails for hiking and biking, parks and public lands, and of course, the pristine shoreline of Lake Tahoe. While many area trails and parks have remained open, it is important to understand and respect any new rules or requirements that may be in place. To help you better plan your next outdoor adventure in Reno Tahoe, please refer to the following guidelines and resources.

Before you head out for your next hike or paddle, be sure to research the area you plan to visit since there are various land management entities in and around Reno Tahoe. Respect the guidelines to keep us all healthy and safe as we explore this beautiful region! Check out our Health and Safety page to learn more about new guidelines at area hotels, restaurants and other businesses.
