Ten mile runs are growing in popularity in the running industry. It’s a bit longer than a 10K (6.2 miles) but not quite as far as a half marathon (13.1 miles). A perfect distance for 5K and 10K runners who want to move up but are intimidated by the longer distances. And a great training run for marathoners.
If you’re not quite ready for 10 miles, get a 2-3 person team together and run in the relay. The scenic course features many of the City’s landmarks as well as the beautiful campus of the University of Nevada, Reno. Course map.
