Spring in Reno Tahoe means tons of fun and sun on the mountains. Check out these upcoming events to make the most of your spring skiing season.
Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe
More daylight means more time to ski at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe. Extend your day on the slopes until 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays for even more thrills and chills on the mountain.
Diamond Peak
What better way to soak up the spring sunshine than with Tahoe views while you take your turns? Diamond Peak’s calendar is full of spring events for the entire family. Grab a snack and quench your thirst at the Spring Summit Pop Up Bar or keep the fun going with DJ Dom spinning at the Loft Bar Deck. Enjoy these and other events, such as the Dummy Downhill and golden egg hunt.
Sugar Bowl Resort
Head to Sugar Bowl Ski Resort on April 11 for their legendary Pond Skim. Whether you’re skimming the pond or just cheering from the sidelines, you're sure to have a blast with live music, a pop-up bar, and a snow beach viewing area to watch the action.
Palisades Tahoe
Known for its spring skiing, Palisades will hold its 34th Annual Cushing Crossing pond skim on April 5th. Join in on the fun, watch big spills, and share some laughs out on the mountain. Costumes are highly encouraged, and there will be awards and prizes from their sponsors.
If you aren't up for a dunk into Cushing Pond, check out one of the other spring events at Palisades, like the Pain McShlonkey Classic or The Mothership Classic. This year's Spring Tracks Concert Series features weekly shows by artists like Marc Montoya and Flosstradamus.
