Late Night Dining in Reno

Late Night Dining in Reno Reno is often referred to as a 24-hour town, and while we do have activity around the city until the wee hours of the morning, food isn't always easy to find late at night. Luckily, there are plenty of local dining options for hungry night owls. Staying at one of our hotel casinos? You're never too far from 24-hour dining, but you'll still find some great spots, no matter your taste, all around Reno. Here are some favorite places to check out thanks to input from our friends at Yelp: Lucky Beaver Don't let the sports bar feel fool you. Sure, they have burgers and sandwiches, but they step it up a notch with steak burgers made with a combination of short rib and chuck roast, and melt in your mouth ahi sliders with fish flown in fresh throughout the week. Lucky Beaver has two locations: one in south Reno across from Atlantis Casino Resort Spa and one in South Lake Tahoe. Both are open 24 hours. "One of the best burgers - cooked the way you ask for it - I have found.  Friendly bartenders.  Not only do they do beef (and they do it really well), but their ahi is spot on."- Nicole F. Golden Flower This Vietnamese restaurant has been a local's late night favorite for years. Located in downtown Reno, it's an easy walk or drive from all the action. They have your favorite dishes from traditional pho to BBQ pork at affordable prices. Don't be surprised if their dining room is bustling, it's a great spot for families/large groups as well as onsies and twosies. They are open until 3 am every night. "I recently rediscovered Golden Flower after moving back to this side of town and I could not be more thrilled! I can't believe the years I wasted going to other Pho places when this one is so amazing!"- Kristen A. Noble Pie Parlor This is an easy choice for delicious pizza in Reno, but it's also a great spot to feed your chicken wing craving. Their wings drive some people in over the pizza itself. Some other great features of Noble Pie include their tasty gluten free pie crust and the fact that they have additional menu choices like Stromboli and polenta. They recently opened a second location in MidTown so you can hang out with the cool kids at both locations! Their 2nd Street location is always open late (specifically 5 am on weekends) and their MidTown location is open until 3 am on weekends. "This place is delicious. I've been here 100 times. Local art on the walls and  lot of character. But most importantly, the food is delicious. Made to order slices with a BIG menu."- Chad P. Little Nugget This list would not be complete without a nod to one of the area's most well-known menu items, The "Awful-Awful" Burger. Some reasons as to why this burger is so popular... 1. It's a half pound burger grilled to order with an out-of-this-world flavor. 2. It comes with a FULL POUND of fries. Bring your appetite. 3. It's located right in the heart of downtown Reno and convenience is key. 4. The Little Nugget is open 24 hours. They do have a bunch of other menu items so you aren't stuck with just one! Our suggestion: split the Awful Awful with a friend and try another dish too. "This place is awesome! Our family eats at the Little Nugget most of time when we go downtown . The Awful Awful is excellent and a huge portion. The fresh veggies put on the burger and sauce are a perfect combination with the tasty burger."- Shawn M. All photos courtesy of Yelp
