Favorite Local Après-Ski Spots

Après-ski is officially defined as “a social activity after a day’s skiing,” but it can also be described as a well-earned happy hour. After a day of shredding the slopes at one of the world-class ski resorts surrounding our region, there’s nothing better than relaxing with drinks, friends and fun times. Here are some great places and popular drinks to enjoy après-ski in Reno Tahoe.

Après-Ski: Beer and Wine

After a full day of crushing it on the slopes, there isn’t a better way to wind down than with a glass of wine or a pint of beer. Stopping by any of these local watering holes is the perfect way to end your day.

Tips for Après-Ski in Reno Tahoe

To truly enjoy an après-ski experience in Reno Tahoe, there are a few things you should try to keep in mind to make your experience that much more enjoyable and the first and foremost is to of course: relax!

Don’t forget to enjoy your vacation while you’re vacationing. It seems silly, but it happens all the time. The best thing you can do to truly get the most of your experience is to simply disconnect, ditch your ski or snowboard equipment in your room, find a band, get down to some live music (there’s likely live music, trust us) and take it all in!

No one après-skis quite like the folks in Reno Tahoe — and we just want to share the best of the best with all those who visit. So, ask a local! Get the best of the best spots to drink, dine and dance in the area after a stoke-filled day on the mountain. We promise it won’t disappoint.
