If music is your passion, then you won’t want to miss Skrillex, Fisher, Gigantic Nightmare, Louis the Child and many more of this year’s hottest performers ringing in the New Year at the SnowGlobe Music Festival in South Lake Tahoe. The three-day event takes place December 29-31 with convenient daily shuttles to and from the Stateline Transit Center in South Lake Tahoe, and a shuttle from The South Y Transit Center in Emerald Bay. For more lake time fun, venture down to the CBC (Crystal Bay Club) for a Tahoe New Year’s Eve party unlike any other. Enjoy the tunes of The California Honeydrops with special guests Sal’s Greenhouse and After Party with The Sextones. The party starts at 9 p.m.
Another way to celebrate Lake Tahoe New Year’s Eve 2020 is at the annual Heavenly Holidays New Year’s Eve Celebration. Starting at 2 p.m., there will be fire, lights and music. Mark McGrath Sugar Ray will perform and kick off the New Year’s Eve countdown and fireworks at 9 p.m.
Squaw Valley, Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe and Northstar are also all holding their own Tahoe New Year’s Eve celebrations which include everything from a torchlight parade to fireworks shows. There are plenty of family activities taking place on December 31 and January 1.
Downtown is the place to be in Reno on New Year’s Eve 2020! THE ROW will be hosting several parties to ring in the New Year. This year it’s a Return to the Roaring ‘20s throughout THE ROW in the Silver Legacy in downtown Reno, where zoot suits and flapper fringe is recommended as you celebrate New Year’s Eve. The Eldorado will host the New Year’s Eve Secret Soiree. Dance the night away to hot jazz and cool cocktails.
Partygoers with the All Access Pass will enjoy entry into the rockin’ parties happening at The Brew Brothers and NoVi at the Eldorado, El Jefe’s Cantina at Circus Circus and Rum Bullions and Aura at Silver Legacy. For those looking for a more laid-back celebration, Roxy’s, Cin Cin Bar and Lounge, Drinx and other bars at THE ROW are great places to cheers the New Year with friends.
End the night will a firework display from three different rooftops in downtown Reno for a brilliant display to kick off the new year.
The Nugget Casino Resort invites you to ring in the New Year with a Cirque Musica Holiday Wishes performance in the Nugget Ballroom. This New Year’s Eve Dinner Show includes a three-course meal and live music from a tribute to ABBA, The Concert. You can also dance the night away to music from DJ Milton Merlos at the Lobby Bar and DJ Kentot with the Amp It Up Girls in Game On.
Make your start of 2020 is a night to remember at LEX Nightclub, inside the Grand Sierra Resort. On the December 31, LEX hosts their Bootleggers and Bustiers New Year’s Eve party full of surprises, the iconic balloon drop and a champagne toast at midnight. This is sure to be one of the hottest Reno New Year’s Eve 2020 parties. Only a limited amount of tickets and VIP tables are available, so get yours before they sell out!
