Reno Bighorns Basketball
Being part of the Reno community since 2008, the Reno Bighorns are a member of the NBA Development League, the official minor league of the NBA. Founded in 2001, the NBA Development League features 18 teams with direct affiliations to NBA franchises, with the Bighorns being a single affiliate to the Sacramento Kings. The Bighorns play in the West Division alongside the Los Angeles D-Fenders, Santa Cruz Warriors, Idaho Stampede, and Bakersfield Jam.
The Bighorns play at the Reno Events Center located in the heart of downtown Reno. Fans who attend games will leave happy with promotional giveaways: Bighorns jerseys, magnet schedules, drawstring bags, bobble heads, and water bottles.
Children can enjoy the Bighorns Kid Zone presented by Bouncing Around, while families can enjoy watching top NBA prospects up close. Enjoy $5 endless popcorn, $5 bottomless soda, $2 hotdogs every Wednesday, and $2 beers every Thursday and Friday.
The Bighorns host 24 home games running from November to April. Fans can get in on the action by purchasing a season ticket plan with packages starting as low as $99, and single game tickets for $8.
When the Bighorns team is not on the court, you may see them out in the Reno community, engaged in a variety of NBA D-League Cares programs that embody the NBA’s commitment to social responsibility such as; Renown Children’s Hospital, Make-A-Wish, American Cancer Society, etc.
