Hosted by the Nugget Casino Resort, the 29th annual event transforms the Labor Day holiday into a must-attend culinary, music, craft, and family end-of-summer affair. Enjoy ribs from 23 of the best cookers from across the world! Shuttles, admission and live entertainment are free.

Event Hours & Food Booths
• Wednesday–Sunday: 11:00am–9:00pm
• Monday: 11:00am–5:00pm
Food and concessions will be available during event hours only. The Kids' Area is open every day. Pets and non-service animals are not permitted on Victorian Square, per local regulations.
Rib Village (VIP eating area, tickets required)
• Wednesday-Sunday: 4:00pm - 9:00pm
• Monday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Rib Village is a VIP area within the Best in the West Nugget Rib Cook-off where you can get UNLIMITED ribs and drinks for up to 10 people. Tables will be available for purchase; click here for more info.
Nugget World Rib Eating Championship
• Wednesday: 6:00pm at the Main Stage
Major League Eating (MLE), the governing body of all stomach-centric sports, will host the 10th annual Nugget World Rib Eating Championship. The country’s best competitive eaters will vie for $5,000 and the title of World Champion. It’s estimated the top competitors will consume eight or more pounds of meat during the 12-minute competition.
More than 20 bands will play on multiple stages during the six-day event. The headliner acts
perform on the Main Stage each evening and are free to the public. The entertainment schedule will be announced in late July 2017.

The best way to get to the event is by using the FREE shuttle service
! Check back in early August for shuttle information. Valet parking at the Nugget will only be available for Nugget hotel guests and street parking in/around Victorian Square will be in extremely short supply.
