Immerse yourself in classical music performed by world-renowned artists!
It’s the sixth phenomenal season of orchestral and chamber music concerts. Forty of the world’s most renowned soloists and orchestral musicians drawn from the greatest orchestras of North America and beyond, gather to perform under the artistic direction of Conductor Joel Revzen.
The inpired musical performances take place in an acoustical tent on the campus of Sierra Nevada College at Incline Village, in beautiful Lake Tahoe, each Friday and Saturday.
The Orchestra, Conductor and Guest Sololists
Joel Revzen, Conductor
Maestro Joel Revzen is an award-winning conductor who leads symphony and opera performances throughout North America and Europe. His active recording career includes two releases with the London Symphony Orchestra, as well as critically acclaimed versions of Haydn’s Die Schöpfung and Die Jahreszeiten with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, and the Grammy-award winning The Art of Arleen Auger on which he was both pianist and conductor. Other recordings include the Mendelssohn Double Concerto with the Moscow Symphony, and an all Libby Larsen recording with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and soprano Benita Valente.
The Orchestra
This remarkable orchestra is comprised of musicians individually invited from the great orchestras in North America and beyond - the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the symphonies of San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and the Leipzig Gewandhaus, among others.  Their performances have gained wide acclaim by bringing the audience thrilling musical experiences.
Maestro Revzen has invited the following renowned soloists to share their artistry, each for a one-week residency at Classical Tahoe concerts, playing a concerto with the orchestra, perhaps playing in a ensemble and/or a solo recital.
