Famous Reno Rodeo Cattle Drive (June 11-15)
As a participant of the drive:  June 11-15
As a spectators:  The herd hits town at high noon on June 16 and draws huge crowds along the route through town.
Want to be more than just a spectator?  Then experience the "Cowboy Way of LIfe" and register to be a cowhand in the Reno Rodeo Cattle Drive (June 11-15). Spots are limited. More information
This is a REAL cattle drive! There may be significant hardships involved. It may rain, snow (it's possible in Nevada!), or blow so hard you'll be eating dust the entire 65 miles! Camps are set up at places where there are corrals available for the cattle at night. Rides will be about 12 miles a day, with a 17 miler in there as well. These are not "prepared" campsites, simply locations on the range where the livestock can be cared for. The first priority is always the cattle and horses. As with cattle drives of the 1800's, the Trail Boss is the Law of the Land.
