New flights coming to Reno Tahoe

The Reno Gazette-Journal has reported that the Reno-Tahoe International Airport is adding additional flights this coming winter, on the heels of an abundant ski season in 2016-2017.

Atlanta: Delta Air Lines will offer daily nonstop service from late December to early January. The route will then be offered once a week from mid-January until the end of March.

Chicago O’Hare: This United Airlines flight was originally planned to run only through the summer. United, however, will start providing nonstop service twice a week from late December to the beginning of April.

Denver: Frontier Airlines will start new nonstop service three times a week in late November.

Houston: Another United flight, this nonstop daily service runs from late December all the way through the end of April.

Las Vegas: Allegiant Air will increase its service to Sin City up to six times per week starting in mid-November and into February.

Long Beach: JetBlue will be increasing its service to twice a day for a limited amount of time in February.

Minneapolis: Another route from Delta, this nonstop service will run five times per week starting in late December and run until early January. After that, it will run once a week until the end of March.
