Located in the entertainment center of downtown Reno, the Reno Events Center offers 118,000 square feet of space for events that range from top-notch entertainment to a myriad of conventions and conferences. Tickets can be purchased at the Reno Events Center Ticket Office from 10 a.m. to noon the day tickets go on sale, or from 10 a.m. until showtime the day of the event. Tickets for concerts can also be purchased at the Silver Legacy box office and through Ticketmaster.

The Events Center is located in the heart of downtown Reno with an abundance of affordable accommodation, dining, shopping and entertainment possibilities all within easy walking distance. Come and see the versatile venue for yourself!

Its flexible configurations include 7,000 seats for concerts that retract to open the floor up for exhibits, tradeshows or sporting events. The Reno Ballroom is adjacent to the events center adding 28,000 square feet of supplementary space with banquet service.

The Reno Events Center has also been a proud home to the USA Boxing Olympic Team Trials, USA Gymnastics T&T Stars and Stripes Championships, and the Reno Wrestling Tournament of Champions over the years.

  • What is your bag policy?

    The REC allows:

    1. Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” X 6” X 12”
    2. One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
    3. Small clutch or purse no larger than 4.5” X 6.5” with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the facility after proper inspection.
    4. An exception will be made of medically necessary items after proper inspection.

    Prohibited items include, but are not limited to; bags larger than 12” X 6” X 12”, backpacks, duffle bags, any and ALL weapons, cans, bottles, food, wallet chains, professional video/audio recording equipment (GoPro’s, tripods, camera bags, etc.), fireworks, laser pens/glow sticks, iPads, coolers.

    Exceptions – sports bags for athletic event participants & coaches, technical equipment for Conventions & Trade shows, and diaper bags accompanied by the infant (1 bag per infant).

    NO storage of prohibited items will be allowed on the premises.

  • What forms of payment are accepted at concession stands?

    Concession stands at REC accept only credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

  • Where can I buy tickets for an event?

    Typically, tickets  to REC events can be purchased via Ticketmaster or at the Reno Events Center Ticket Office the day the tickets go on sale from 10:00am – noon, or beginning at 10:00am on the day of the event. Tickets can also be purchased in-person at The Silver Legacy box office Fridays and Saturdays from 5:30pm to 9:30pm.

  • Is the facility handicap accessible?

    Accessible seating is located on platforms at the bottom of all 100 section seating. Accessible doors to facility are located at the Southwest, Southeast and Northwest entrances. The facility is equipped with an elevator for access to the 2nd level.

    The Reno Events Center has designated seating specifically for guests with disabilities.  In most cases, an accompanying companion seat is available.  When ordering accessible tickets, it is important to indicate that you require accessible seating so we can properly seat you.

    Purchase Accessible Tickets by Phone or Online:

    Find your event on Ticketmaster.com, then click the ADA icon and request accessible seating tickets.

    For Ticketmaster events, call (775) 335-8815 and request accessible tickets.

    Limited accessible parking spaces are available across the street in the parking garage at the National Bowling Stadium. The cost is $10/car.

  • How much is parking?

    $10 per space / per day at the National Bowling Stadium across the street. You may also park for free in The Row casino parking garages.
