It's Time to enter "Bowling's Most Complete Tournament"
Entries are now being accepted for the 12th installment of the Storm National Mixed Championships featuring the Open Festival of Bowling. If you are looking for a tournament the entire family can bowl this is the event for all of you. Known as "Bowling's Most Complete Tournament", the Storm National Mixed Championships has a tournament event for every genteration in the family.
The Storm National Mixed Championships is not your typical mixed tournament. Yes it has the traditional mixed tournament events, 4-Person Mixed Team, Mixed Doubles and Singles along with and All-Events prize fund, but there is also the Open Festival of Bowling Tournament that allows any and all bowlers to compete in one or more events.
The Open Festival of Bowling tournament is comprised of 8 other events: Open Team, Open Doubles, Open Singles, Senior Doubles, Senior Singles, Adult/Youth Doubles, Youth Singles, and 6 game Scratch Singles. With events for adults, seniors (50 and over) and youth, this is truly "Bowling's Most Complete Tournament".
Comprised of two separate tournaments - the National Mixed Tournament and the Open Festival of Bowling Tournament it's the biggest and best tournament starting August 7 and bowling through November 2 with an anticpiated prize fund of $150,000. Entries are accepted up to the final squad of the tournament on November 2.
Special Hotel/Bowling discount packages have been put together this year with the sponsoring hotels Eldorado, Silver Legacy and Circus Circus. Special one amount entry fee includes 3 events in the tournament and 2 or 3 night stay accommodations.
The tournament is being conducted daily August 7-10, and Fridays - Sundays August 15-31 and October 4-November 2. Entry forms are available online at www.NationalMixed.com or may be mailed to you by calling the National Bowling Stadium at 1-800-304-2695 and press 0 for the receptionist.
