Father's Day Weekend includes a series of motocross events, off-road racing and more
Reno, Nev. - In continuing to bring both adrenaline junkies and inherent danger to the heart of Reno, Xtreme Concepts, through its Xtreme Sports Bar + Lounge inside Grand Sierra Resort (GSR) presents Xtreme Outlaw Weekend June 17-20. Led by creator and founder of Xtreme Sports Bar + Lounge, Richard Silverman, Valley Off Road Racing Association (VORRA), Off Road Innovations of Reno, S&R Management and LivFast, the weekend will include a series of events featuring freestyle jumping, Supermoto, a 250-mile desert race, autograph signings, awards ceremonies and a pool party at The Beach at Grand Sierra Resort. The "Xtreme Girls" will entertain the crowd and give away prizes for spectators all weekend long as well as spokes models from various sponsors.

The weekend event is broken down with several competitions:
The Xtreme LivFast Super Moto (XLSM) is a partnership between Xtreme Concepts, GSR and LivFast with several bike racing competitions and divisions.
The Xtreme Freestyle Motocross (XLFM) is LivFast's professional racing exhibition team trained to compete and entertain through a variety of dangerous stunts and demonstrations.
The Xtreme Outlaw Off-Road (XO2) is an off-property desert race competition being produced by Xtreme Concepts and GSR.
The Xtreme Outlaw Off-Road desert race and amateur motocross events welcome riders of all levels of experience. Those interested may register online beginning April 15 at www.grandsierraresort.com. Limited spots are available.
Xtreme Outlaw Weekend is an all ages event and the best way to celebrate Father's Day weekend. Admission is $10 daily, and children 8 and under accompanied by an adult are free. The Xtreme Outlaw Expo, a row of vendors and sponsor display booths to promote the dynamic industry of extreme sports and beyond, is free and open to the public 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. all weekend.

GSR will host a press conference with motocross riders Greg Garrison, Drake McElroy and Dustin Miller, professional desert race truck drivers and John Harrah's race team, Speed Technologies. A cookout for media interested in covering and interviewing participants and sponsors will follow.

Friday, June 18
Grand Sierra Parking Lot | Xtreme Sports Bar + Lounge
Noon - 4 p.m.: Registered riders from all classes, bike sizes and four wheelers are invited to open practice.
1 - 3 p.m.: Professional riders will complete an exhibition run showing off their skills including 75-foot back flips, Nacnac backs and the back flip kiss of death.
7 p.m. The night comes to a close with a Dash for Cash professional race with participants competing for $1000 in a "winner takes all" format. The Xtreme Dash for Cash will feature elite professional racers by invitation only. Professional riders Greg Garrison, Drake McElroy and Dustin Miller will race on a signature Xtreme Livfast one-of-kind, custom-built racetrack in GSR's parking lot. Races include a 3/4-mile street and a 1/4-mile road course.
7:30 p.m. Professional riders will demonstrate stunts, daredevil 75-foot jumps and more. Autograph and photograph opportunities at The Beach at GSR will follow the demo.
9 p.m. The Beach at GSR will host a pool party for riders and spectators featuring live music and entertainment. Guests must be at least 21 years old and additional admission prices may apply.
Saturday, June 19
Grand Sierra Parking Lot
9 a.m. The Xtreme Outlaw Off-Road desert race takes off with a parade down Mill St. to the off-site dirt road to being the competition.
10 a.m. - noon: Professional riders from across the world will participate in three, 18-minute practice rounds before entering the timed qualifying round to place them in the race competition.
The four divisions are:
? 250 Pro (eight laps) - 250 cubic centimeter, four- stroke bikes
? Vet Expert (six laps) - for professionals aged 30 years or older
? Pro ATV (six laps) - four wheelers
? Xtreme Livfast Supermoto Unlimited (10 Laps) - professional participants may ride their bike of choice
1 p.m. During the lunch hour, professional riders will again demonstrate various challenging jumps while spectators enjoy fare from various participating sponsors.
2 p.m. Professional riders from all four divisions will compete in Moto one, the qualifying round, where the best riders are narrowed down through a variety of different competitions within the four racing divisions.
3 p.m. The Xtreme Outlaw Off-Road desert race finishers begin to cross the finish line at GSR.
3:30 p.m. Professional riders will show off yet again with more demonstrations, stunts, daredevil 75-foot jumps and more.
4 p.m. It is race time at GSR and the main event begins. The best of the best competitors will face off in Moto two, the final round.
7 - 8 p.m. Professional riders and monster truck drivers will demonstrate stunts, risky jumps and more on a freestyle ramp.
8 p.m. The winners are acknowledged at an award ceremony for the Xtreme LivFast Supermoto and Xtreme Outlaw Off-road desert race. The night caps off with a pool party at The Beach at GSR for riders and spectators featuring live music and entertainment. Guests must be at least 21 years old and additional admission fees apply.
Sunday, June 20
Grand Sierra Parking Lot
7:30 - 8:30 a.m. Riders of all levels may register to participate for an open practice upon passing of technical inspections.
8:30 - 10:30 a.m.: Registered amateurs from all classes are invited to practice their skills before competing.
11 a.m. Amateur riders from all divisions will compete in Moto one, the qualifying round, where the best riders are narrowed down through a variety of different competitions within the different racing divisions.
2 p.m. It is race time at GSR and the main amateur event begins. The best of the best competitors will face off in Moto two, the final round.
3 - 4 p.m. Xtreme Sports Bar + Lounge will host a closing ceremony and award presentation
for winners for the blowout weekend.

Valley Off Road Racing Association (VORRA)
VORRA was established in 1975 as a family-oriented organization and is led by current promoter Wes Harbor who believes that "off road racing has its roots in people's garages". VORRA is the only organization to offer both four short course races and three desert races as part of its overall season championship.
