For some, it is a day to commemorate a man named Patrick who chased some snakes out of Ireland. For the rest of us, it is an excuse to party, and pay homage to the Irish and their many traditions. There are many locations in Reno Tahoe that will provide entertainment, Irish music, and of course, great Saint Patty’s libations. Here is a list of some of the venues that will keep you occupied from the ‘top of the morning’ until the wee hours of the night!

The crawl is back again folks! Saturday, March 15, the leprechauns (and wannabe leprechauns) will be out and about. Only instead of pots of gold, these guys will have cups of liquid courage! Dress in green or risk getting yourself pinched by a lot of fellow crawlers. The crawl starts at 7:30PM.
Get your cups at one of these locations. You even can buy them online!
There will also be discounted room rates at the Silver Legacy and the Sands Regency during the weekend of the Leprechaun Crawl. Use the promo code LEPCRAW at the Silver Legacy and CRAWL14 at the Sands!
More info will come shortly, and we can’t hardly wait to tell everyone all about it! Time to paint the town GREEN!

A special prize will be given to whoever can place ahead of him.

If you happen to be in the Tahoe area, you won’t want to miss the St. Patrick’s day party at the Montbleu. With $3 Guinness and $3 Jameson at the HQ and The Zone lounges, those with the blood of the Irish would approve of partying here.
Celtic rock band Young Dubliners will be performing at 10:00PM. Tickets are $30, with $1 drinks at the Blu nightclub!
of course, what kind of St. Patrick’s day would it be if you didn’t visit a few Irish pubs? Here are a few that are having special St. Patrick’s Day events!
Ceol Irish Pub– On Monday, March 17, which is actually St. Patrick’s day, Ceol is throwing their annual celebration! There will be live music on the outdoor patio from 3PM until 8, then the Blarney Band will be playing indoors.
Shea’s Tavern– They haven’t posted any events yet, but since this Irish pub is ALWAYS open, you can be sure they will be raging this St. Paddy’s day. Check out their Facebook for event updates.
O’Skis Pub & Grille– If you happen to be at the Victorian Square in Sparks, O’Skis will be worth checking out. Enjoy some authentic Irish food and beverages in this building constructed in 1908.
