Don't just reimagine what's possible. Make it happen.

Things To Do

Brace yourself. Reno Tahoe is about to pull you in all different directions. Here, you can rock climb in the heart of downtown and rock out on the top of a mountain. Make art and destroy monotony. Paddleboard and crowd surf. Win big and lose yourself. So, what’s first?

Things To Do in Reno

There are so many things to do in Reno, Nevada and so little time. You could start off by taking in the local flavor at one of our delicious restaurants or craft breweries. Reno’s palate continues to expand with tastes from just about everywhere. Culinarily speaking, we’ve got it made, from casual, pub-style dining to upscale, farm-to-table eateries.

Outside the Reno restaurants scene, local activities offer both adventurous and relaxing possibilities. Rent a kayak and try out your whitewater skills on the river, or maybe just take a hike (or snowshoe, depending on the season). If you’re looking for something mellow and relaxing, take yourself for a spa day at one of the many casino resorts in Reno Tahoe. Soak in the sun next to an alpine lake or enjoy a glass of wine while overlooking the Truckee River. If you’re feeling ambitious, do it all in one day.

Walk around the midtown area of the Biggest Little City in the World to spot one of our popular museums. Bring the kids to the Terry Lee Wells Nevada Discovery Museum, check out classic cars at the National Automobile Museum, or visit the rotating displays at the Nevada Museum of Art.

When you’re done with your museum tours, you can even catch a local Reno Aces baseball game at downtown Reno’s Greater Nevada Field. And if you’re lucky enough to visit during one of Reno’s city-wide events, you’re guaranteed to walk right into enough activities for the whole day simply by taking a stroll downtown. Hot August Nights fills the city streets with hundreds of classic cars, while Artown celebrates the arts all through July, with workshops, concerts, movies in the park and so much more. Endless options – that’s Reno Tahoe.

Things To Do in Sparks

If you’re striking out in search of things to do near Reno, Sparks is right next door. Sparks is Reno’s neighbor to the east and has no shortage of things to check out. From events like The Best in the West Rib Cook-Off to amazing shopping outlets, Sparks is its own world to discover.

Things To Do in Lake Tahoe

There are plenty of Lake Tahoe activities to be enjoyed, in and out of the water. Beyond the inviting, crystal-clear water, Lake Tahoe is surrounded by the peaks of the Sierra Nevada and acres of national forest.

Mountain biking, hiking, river rafting, camping, sightseeing and tons of winter activities are just a few things to do in Tahoe.

Stay at one of Tahoe’s beautiful ski resorts for a plethora of snow sports, from snowboarding to downhill and cross-country skiing, and later go ice skating at one of the area’s rinks for a family-friendly day out.

Or hike the beautiful mountains of South Lake Tahoe on the Rubicon Trail. In summer, you can even plunge into the green waters of Emerald Bay State Park for a relaxing swim at the end of your hike – or head to one of Tahoe’s many open, sandy beaches for everything from sunbathing to paddleboarding.

Ready to recover from all of that outdoor exploration? Check out the restaurants, gaming, casino spas and nightlife. Any way you slice it, there are plenty of things to do in Lake Tahoe.
