New Year’s Eve Dining in Reno Tahoe USA
Before popping the champagne or watching the fireworks light up the winter sky, gather with friends and family for a divine New Year’s Eve dinner in Reno Tahoe USA. From fine dining to boundless buffets, you’ll find the perfect meal to kick off your celebration!
Join Chef Ivano Centemeri at La Strada from 5 pm to close for a special four-course dinner, including arugula noodle lasagna with slow-braised Sangiovese wine lamb sauce and goat cheese bechemelle for $40 per person. Roxy presents a three-course culinary journey culminating with your choice of pan roasted salmon, black trumpet mushrooms and caviar, filet mignon, asparagus and lobster-cognac sauce or Colorado lamb chops from 5 pm to close for $65 per guest. A hearty three-course meal awaits you at The Prime Rib Grill where the main course that includes a 20 ounce porterhouse steak served Oscar style with buttered crab for $31.95 from 5 pm to close. For an endless New Year’s Eve dinner, The Buffet is pulling out all the stops, including lobster Bolognese over fettuccine, broiled New York Steak, mushroom raviolis and much more, beginning at 4 pm, $23.99 for adults and $11.99 for children.
Restaurante Orozko is serving an elegant three-course meal with a steak and lobster entrée, while Trader Dick’s presents special beef, poultry and seafood options. Both menus are offered from 5 pm to close for $45 each. One pound Maine lobster tail is the crowning jewel at The Steakhouse Grill for $55, and at John’s Oyster Bar, one pound split king crab legs and clam chowder top off the menu for $24.95. Both restaurants will serve from 5 pm. At The Rotisserie Buffet, wake up with the New Year’s Champagne Brunch from 8:30 am – 2 pm for $16.95 for adults and $9.95 for children ages 5-11, or feast at the all-you-can-eat dinner from 5 – 10 pm, $22.95 for adults and $12.95 for children.
Ring in the New Year with award-winning dining, such as the four-course prix fixe dinner at Atlantis Steakhouse with your choice of pan roasted maple leaf farms duck breast or roasted beef tenderloin bordelaise and Maine lobster tail for $55, served from 4 pm. Bistro Napa has a four-course prix fixe menu of their own, featuring a lobster trio, venison chop, lamb chop and duck breast, beginning at 4 pm for $50. Stop by Toucan Charlie’s Buffet & Grille for a variety of all-you-can options, including a steak and seafood champagne dinner from 4:30 – 10 pm, $29.99 for adult and $14.99 for children.
Bring 2012 to a delicious end at Lone Eagle Grille and enjoy a three-course dinner on the beautiful Lake Tahoe shore. Served from 5:30 – 10:30 pm, the main course includes surf and turf en croute, 6 ounce filet and lobster tail for $100. A la carte options are also available.
The Peppermill invites you to enjoy pan roasted filet mignon at Biscotti’s from 4 – 9 pm, starting at $45, or roasted Chilean sea bass with lemon and pepper shrimp at Bimini Steakhouse starting at $69.95, served from 4 – 10 pm. Café Milano is offering petite filet Diane and broiled lobster tail from 5pm – midnight for $30.00, while filet of beef tenderloin and Dungeness crab is available from 4 – 10 pm at Oceano, starting at $45. Delight your palate at Romanza with a pan seared beef tenderloin trio, starting $69.95 from 4 – 10 pm, or dine on the limitless feast at Island Buffet from 4:30 – 9:30 pm, $26.99 for adults and $12.99 for children ages 4 – 11.
Kick-off your celebration early with the New Year’s Champagne Bruch at the Courtyard Buffet from 8 am – 4 pm; $14.99 for adults and $6.99 for children. Before joining the revelers under the Reno arch, treat your taste buds to Muscovy duck with Sellerie puree, truffles and Brussels sprout leaves at The Steakhouse at Circus for $49.99 from 5 pm, or savor the broiled ham steak with raisin sauce and parmesan whipped potatoes at the Americana Café for $16.95, open from 11 am.
Catering to those celebrating well into the early morning of the New Year, Café Biltmore will offer pizza by the slice, wings, spaghetti, turkey wraps, hot dogs and burritos from 12:15 – 3 am. The standard menu will also be available on New Year’s Eve from 7 am – 11:30 pm.
