Where to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo

There are plenty of ways to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Reno Tahoe! Enjoy drink specials at the Grand Sierra Pool and a special Mexican lager release from Brewer’s Cabinet. Enjoy performances from traditional dancers and mariachi bands while sampling authentic food favorites during THE ROW’s family-friendly La Fiesta de Mayo Festival. And what Cinco de Mayo celebration would be complete without a refreshing margarita? Whether you like yours on the rocks or blended, quench your thirst at one of these favorite local restaurants.

Anna’s Taqueria

Anna’s Taqueria serves a menu packed with delicious and authentic flavors, with vegetarian options included. Choose the “all you can eat” tacos selection or a special dish and pair it with your favorite Mexican beer or michelada. Stop by their Wells Avenue location and enjoy the outdoor patio seating on a sunny day.

Miguel’s Mexican Food

Home to great Mexican food and even better drinks, Miguel’s Mexican Food is one of Reno’s go-to places for an awesome margarita. Want a break from the traditional margarita? Try one of their fruit margaritas available in strawberry, mango, peach or guava. Their hand-crafted skinny margarita is made with fresh lime juice, a shot of El Jimador tequila and a shot of agavero orange liquor. Visit them in Reno’s MidTown District or at The Summit Mall in south Reno.
