The allure of Fire to humankind is irresistible!
Reno City Plaza (downtown Reno) heats up for one of the summer's favorite events. Celebrating its 6th year, it's the "hottest" show during the popular Artown! After dark, propane flame effects will be highlighted along with fire performance by local and regional fire artists choreographed to modern, driving music.
A fire art garden and various fire-inspired art projects will be along Virginia Street, as well as an alternative vendor village. During daylight hours, demonstrations from a compendium of local artists will feature glass-blowing and pottery exhibitions, as well as playshops in dance and object manipulation.
