Reno Basque Festival

The Festival will start at 10 AM with a Basque-folkloric dance by the club's dancers,mostly children. Following there will be traditional exhibitions and contests including improvisational poetry, weight carrying competition (open to men and women), wood chopping exhibiton/competition, weight lifting exhibition, irrintzi (or war cry competition) and children bota bag drinking contest. The Master of ceremonies will keep the audience informed about the events taking place and will educate the public about Basque culture.Food,drinks and souvenirs will be available for purchase
