The US Open of Watercross is expected to draw one of the largest gatherings of competitors in the country in pursuit of the US Open title.
 
The UWP-IJSBA National Tour is the country’s premier watercross racing circuit and showcases the finest professional and amateur athletes in the sport.  The fan friendly Sparks Marina has a beautiful beach to watch extreme racing on a technical and challenging closed course and handlebar-to-handlebar action.
 
This will be 8th annual US Open of Watercross which has traveled from coast to coast bringing the best watercross riders throughout the USA and the world, including Australia, Columbia, Kuwait, and Indonesia.  Competitors will vie for the prestigious title of Sparks US Open of Watercross Champion and a place in watercross history. This internationally recognized event will be one of the highest paid events in the country.
 
Spectator admission is free and viewing areas are wheelchair accessible.
 
Event Schedule 
Races all day with the premier watercross classes taking place 11am to 2pm.  On Sunday, each premier class race will be followed by awards, interviews and autograph sessions.
 
Saturday, June 29
9:00am      Practice begins
10:15am    National anthem is played and racing begins with novice and amateur
11:00am    Pro Runabout Open – MOTO 1
11:30am    Pro Ski GP – MOTO 1
12:00pm    Pro Freestyle – MOTO 1
1:00pm      Intermission – autograph session with pros
                    Pro Runabout Stock - MOTO 1
1:30pm      Pro Ski Stock - MOTO 1
2:00pm      Racing continues, all classes
4:30pm      Racing ends

Sunday, June 30
10:15am   National anthem, racing begins
11:00am   Pro Runabout Open – MOTO 2
11:20am   Pro Ski GP – MOTO 2
11:40am   Pro Runabout Stock - MOTO 2
12:00pm   Pro Freestyle (finals)
1:00pm     Pro Runabout Open - FINALS
1:20pm     Pro Ski GP - FINALS

Special Jetovator Demonstration this weekend...
Event organizers are excited to announce the appearance of Jetavation Inc. to the event.  The Jetovator has the capability of flying up to 30 feet in the air and diving down 10 feet below the water. You can fly at speeds of up to 25 mph and can perform aerial stunts such as back flips! The Suspension Landing Gear option allows experienced Jetovator operators to take off from, and land on, docks or boats decks. See the live demo right after freestyle on Saturday and Sunday.
