As the sun rises on 22nd May 2010 thousands of people across America will line up ready to embark on The Sunchaser Challenge – a new kind of adventure for every level of ability to help protect wildlife under threat of extinction. Whether you want to push yourself to the limit and compete against some of the nation’s most hardened athletes or if you just fancy a fun and active day with a difference- Sunchaser Challenge is for you.
As a relay team or with a solo effort, Run, Bike, Kayak and Navigate your way through stunning scenery in North Lake Tahoe. You have until sunset to find the 50 checkpoints scattered throughout the course and ‘rescue’ the endangered species. There will be between 7-10 discipline loops, ranging from 1 – 3 hours in duration and will encompass optional routes ranging from easy to challenging. You don't have to be a super athlete just super enthusiastic!
