10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Striking, colorful and high in contrast, Battle Born Hues is a Nevada show, showcasing the people animals and places that make our state unique. This show is about the founders, the famous and the unknown, the avian, the reptile and the mammal. You will see the inhabitants of the silver state gracing canvases in styles and colors that are new and bold. This show is a hybrid of styles from traditional to the street. The unexpected results may leave you surprised.
Being Nevada’s sesquicentennial 150th anniversary of joining the Union and becoming part of the United States. And me, being a lifelong resident of the state of Nevada, I felt compelled to explore, research and paint some of the great figures from Nevada’s past and present. I wanted to know what made Nevada special, from it’s rugged terrain, the wild past and it’s beloved creatures.
Nevada is unique in every way, and it was a pleasure to explore what, and will, continue to make it that way.
Bryce graduated from Earl Wooster High School and then continued his education at Truckee Meadows Community College. He continued his education at the University of Nevada, Reno, under the guidance of Michael Sarich, this is when his art really began to grow.
