Know Your Beer - Know Your Brewer!
The craft beer trade is alive and well in the Silver State and it’s time to celebrate Nevada-brewed beer! The members of the Nevada Craft Brewers Association invite you to the first-ever Nevada Craft Brewers Festival from 3 - 7pm on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Wingfield Park in downtown Reno. The festival will showcase beer brewed from all over the state of Nevada; feature the live music of local band Jelly Bread; and include a selection of northern Nevada’s famous g
ourmet food trucks.
The Association is calling on all, near and far, to come out and support Nevada craft brewers. With access to more than 17 breweries from across Nevada, festival attendees will have a unique opportunity to taste Nevada-brewed beers —all in one sitting, and all in one place. The festival is open to beer tasters of all experience levels, from the serious to the casual, catering to pros and amateurs alike.
The Association offers only two suggestions: 1) bring your friends and 2) come thirsty.
The cost of admission includes a souvenir tasting glass and unlimited beer for the duration of the event. Admission for designated drivers is $5 and includes complimentary soft drinks. The festival is only open to people aged 21 and over.

The Inaugural Nevada Craft Brewers Festival will feature beer brewed in the Silver State by association brewery members including:
Barleys Brewery, Big Dog’s Brewing Company, BJ’s Brewhouse, Boulder Dam Brewing, Brasserie Saint James, Brew Brothers, Chicago Brewing Company, Ellis Island Brewery, Gordon Biersch Brewery, Great Basin Brewing Company, High Sierra Brewing Company, Joseph James Brewing Company, Pints Brewery, Ruby Mountain Brewing Company, Silver Peak Brewery, Sin City Brewing Company, Tenaya Creek Brewery, The Brewer’s Cabinet, Triple 7 Brewery, and White Pine Brewing Company.
